Over 25 five years in the business? Costantino Padovano better known as Funky Junction or D.J. Mixmaster started his career in Brooklyn New York, (USA) with a diversity of psychedelic styles, thus laying the foundation for the New York underground. Since 1979 he was involved with music, combining his knowledge of cutting edge New York dance club music with his own fresh style, Costantino became well known in New York clubs such as Plato?s, Infinity, Studio 54, The Palladium, Save the robot (after hour), The World, The Ritz, Limelight, Danceteria, Area, and the Tunnel.
During this time Rudolf Piper was a direct influence of Costantino?s vision towards music & clubs... He became since than, one of the originators of the House music movement. Throughout the years his musical style has often changed, and he has gone from being one of the first hard house DJ of New York to one of the few people that have taught the World club scene true soul.
Matured though his many experiences in and outside New York, Costantino style and selection of music, is the key of is success around the world. Always a blend of colors and sounds in is performance, a full 360-degree of knowledge, experience.
Since 1980 Costantino has gained international recognition and his guest appearances have taken him to the best party?s around the world. Spain (Ibiza ? Palma de Majorca), Portugal, (Lisbon, Albuferia) Mexico, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, France, Switzerland, Miami, Brazil, Canada, Germany and Belgium. By 1990 his release of Mixmaster - "In the Mix" established him as an artist and producer in his own right.
